officially graduating from TK2H.

My God. So sad. Honestly, the ending wasn’t as bad as i thought. I was pretty shocked by Shi Kyung’s death and i didn’t want to accept the fact that my favorite character died the episode before the last one, but even though i used to watch the show mainly for the development between him and the princess i grew fond of the other characters as well. I’m glad at least Jae Ha (his smile’s a killer) and Hang Ah (oooh she’s so badass) got an happy ending (:

Furthermore, i actually really enjoyed the main political storyline, it was very interesting and (even if from a very loose point of view, being a tv show) somewhat educational, me being european and not knowing very well what is actually going on between North and South Korea (shame on me, i don’t pay foreign policy the deserved attention but since our own internal political situation is pretty shitty, you know).

Princess Jae Shin, on the other hand, i felt she was lonely and sad, with a deep wound in her heart that’ll probably never heal. She seemed so fragile in that last scene i wanted to jump inside my MacBook and hold her, seriously.

I know, life isn’t perfect and all. People we love, well, they die unexpectedly, and all we’re left is a huge hole in our heart and a sense of powerlessness. I know.

But still, i keep on thinking how cute would have been to watch a little Shi Kyung playing around with the spoiled Crown Prince, or maybe our favourite soldier awakwardly propose to his Princess after 4 years of dating (i keep on thinking that the other way around would have probably been more likely, like Oh my god, so frustrating it’s been 4 years already… Aren’t you going to marry me?! Ahahah) (:

I missed them throughout the whole episode and when they appeared on screen, well, i shed a tear (:

Seriously, for the past week i used to think i invested way too much time on this show, they killed off such a perfect character and all but you know what? I regret nothing (:

Now i’m just sad it’s over (: Ahahah i feel like thanking all the actors involved in this show, Lee Seung Gi, Ha Ji Won, Jo Jung Suk (see you soon in What’s Up? and Architecture 101 -oh God i must really, really love you, i hate Han Ga In), Lee Yoon Ji (your stylist in TK2H is my new guru, post coming up soon about what i freaking bought because i keep on thinking about how amazing your outfit was during the meteor shower scene), Yoon Je Moon, Lee Sung Min.

Watching this drama was crazy (: Thank you guys for the hard work, and all the best (:
